1982 NKU graduate Michael Wilson's photography will be on display at the Weston Gallery in Cincinnati beginning April 10 in an exhibit called "The Day of Small Things."
Co-organized with The Light Factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, The
Day of Small Things is a mid-career retrospective of the work of
Michael Wilson, who creates unique and deeply honest
photographs that sum up the essence of his diverse subject matter which
includes landscape, urban settings, interiors and portraits.
The
exhibition will feature a variety of photographic series completed by
Wilson during the past twenty years including his ongoing series of
musician portraits—many of whom happen to be some of today’s most
important musical artists (Lyle Lovett, Philip Glass, B.B. King,
Emmylou Harris, The Neville Brothers, Randy Newman, David Byrne, Over
the Rhine, Renée Fleming).
