Boehne is the chairman, president and CEO of The E.W. Scripps Company, a news industry leader and innovator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Scripps operates television stations, newspapers and digital media brands in more than 25 cities across the country. In addition, Scripps also owns the mobile news network Newsy, as well as the political reporting brand DecodeDC, and The Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Boehne is a member of the board of directors of the world’s largest news organization, The Associated Press, and is a member of the NKU board of regents. He also is a past recipient of NKU’s annual professional achievement award, its annual outstanding alumnus award, as is among its Lincoln Award winners.
