Alumni Awards
NKU Alumni Association Awards are presented annually at the Alumni Awards Celebration which
will be held in spring of 2014 in the NKU James C. and Rachel M. Votruba Student Union Ballroom.
Awards are presented for the following categories and are due by December 11, 2013.

Distinguished Service Award
Recognizes alumni who have contributed time, talent, and effort enhancing the quality of life at NKU, or alumni who have made significant contributions, making their community a better place to live.
Outstanding Young Alumnus Award
Recognizes alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years who have contributed service enhancing the quality of life at NKU or the greater community and/or who have distinguished themselves through professional accomplishments.
NKU Faculty/Staff Strongest Influence Award
This award may go to either a faculty member or a staff member (full- or part-time, tenured, or non-tenured) whose teaching, counseling, or advising had a strong and lasting impact on the life and/or career of the nominating alumnus/a. The individual should be currently working at NKU or retired, although the award may be given posthumously. Submit supporting documentation not to exceed 300 words.
Outstanding Alumnus Award
One alumnus/a will be selected from each college within NKU to receive this award. The Outstanding Alumnus Award recognizes an alumnus/a who, through his or her successes and accomplishments has enhanced the image of NKU. Please specify the nominee’s major or college attended while at NKU.
NKU's colleges are: Arts and Sciences, Haile/US Bank College of Business, Education and Human Services, Health Professions, Informatics, and Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Each college makes the final decision on the recipient of their award.
